I am super-excited about heading to Santorini Greece for a destination wedding this Fall. Maybe it’s allure of the island lifestyle; enjoying the simpler things in life, wearing sandals, home-grown tomatoes, feeling the sun on tan skin, cool white linen and Mediterranean breezes. And maybe it’s because it’s my little sister’s wedding!!!
The invitations are going to press as I write this, and of course they would not be complete with a Sea and Henna theme. I designed the sea-horse logo, using traditional henna patterns, combined with a touch of swirly flowy whimsy. And my sister is a graphic designer, and she designed the rest of the invitation. Stay tuned for more photos of her creative invitation presentation. Let’s just say the invitations will arrive in a unique way.
